Amy Lagail Bass

Amy Lagail Bass, age 51, passed away on April 29, 2025, after a life filled with joy, love, and passion. Born on September 6, 1973, Amy's enthusiasm for life touched everyone she met.
A true lover of the outdoors, Amy found solace and happiness by the sea, with sand between her toes and the sound of waves providing the soundtrack to her peaceful moments. She was an avid sports enthusiast, her loyalty unwavering for the Atlanta Braves, the Miami Hurricanes football team, and the Savannah Bananas baseball club. Her spirited cheers and optimistic outlook were infectious to all who watched the games alongside her.
Amy's love for her dogs, Rocket and Socks, knew no bounds, and their companionship brought her immeasurable comfort and joy. She was also deeply moved by the grace of sea turtles, often advocating for their preservation.
Amy's radiant spirit and heartfelt compassion will be deeply missed, but her memories will forever remain a beacon of light to those fortunate enough to have known her.
She was a graduate of South Cobb High School in Austell, Georgia and worked for Manheim-Cox Enterprises for 26 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Frank Warren, III and her father, Dan Bass.
Amy is survived by her mother, Wanda Bass; siblings, Daniel Bass and Stacy Bass; aunts and uncles, Lewis Rhodes (Belinda), Bill Bass, Calvin Rhodes (Melissa) and Rev. Wayne Owens (Sue); brother-in-law, Don Warren (Ann); niece and nephews, Matt Szewczak (Brianna) Thomas Warren and Tiffany Warren; great-nephew, Ronan Szewczak; as well as many other cousins and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Wayne Owens officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
