Anastasia Pilat
Herkimer – Mrs. Anastasia Pilat, 101, of Herkimer passed away Friday, May 30, 2025 in The Grand.
She was born in North Ukraine, on January 15, 1924, the daughter of the late Wasil and Anastasia Kanba and attended schools there. She was married to Iwan Pilat on April 18, 1945 in Germany. Anastasia was employed a Wrapper for Peace Board Factory, New Jersey
Anastasia is survived by her granddaughter, Patricia Pilat of Rilington, NJ; her grandson, William Pilat Jr. of Rilington, NJ and several nieces, nephews and cousins in Europe.
She was predeceased by her son, William Pilat in January of 1996.
Her funeral will be held Friday, June 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM in St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Rt 5 E Herkimer with Rev Fr Ivan Semko. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home 329 S. Washington St., Herkimer, NY..
