Andreas Martin Frey, "Andy" passed away peacefully August 13th, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Semlac, Romania to Susannah and Andreas Frey. A refugee of World War II he traveled to Austria where he met his wife. After they married they emigrated to the states where they settled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2006, Andy moved over to Southampton, NJ where he resided the remainder of his life.
He was the husband to the late Magdalena Lung, father of Karin (Glen) Petrauski and Deborah (Nicholas) Wall, brother to Erika (George) Heineman, and the loving Opa of Marissa O'Hara, Kyle Petrauski, Nicholas Wall and Olivia Wall.
Andy was an employee of Nabisco. He worked long hours and late nights to provide for his family. Up to the day he passed, he enjoyed sharing stories of his time at Nabisco as well as sharing stories of his childhood and his memories of his wife, Magdalena.
Andy enjoyed spending time with his family, watching his grandchildren grow up and cheer them on. He enjoyed gardening, basking in the sun outdoors, and enjoyed cleaning his cars. Andy also loved spending time with his neighbors out on Warwick Way.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 1 Winchester Ct., Tabernacle, NJ 08088. Memorial Service to follow at 11:00AM.
In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
