Andrew Noel Farias passed unexpectedly on May 25, 2025, in Uhland, TX at the age of 18. He was a graduate of the San Marcos High School class of 2025. Andrew was born February 27, 2007. He was born in San Marcos, TX. He was registered to attend Texas State University and planned to study in Construction Engineering.
He was a caring, outgoing young man who was excited to start his journey. His smile was so contagious; he lit up the room. He had a lifelong passion for football and a great love for his dodge charger, his car wasn't just a vehicle, it was his sanctuary, his freedom and most often the first thing he would talk about with a smile. He was a loving soul whose warmth and generosity touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He is proceeded in death by his Great Grandfather Manuel Vasquez.
He is survived by his parents, Shannon Vasquez and Alex Alonzo; his siblings, Raymond Martinez, Jesse Rene Farias, Mariah Farias, Kingston Alonzo, Kateleya Alonzo, and Kylianna Alonzo; his grandfather, James Bryant; his aunts, Crystal Trevino and Rena Gomez (Erik); his uncles, Anthony Vasquez and Michael Vasquez; his cousins, Isaiah Trevino, Nicholas Trevino, Mark Trevino, Daniel Gomez, Jaysen Gomez, Tj Regalado, Nevaeh Gomez, Arizona Gomez, Ciara Gomez, Emma Vasquez and Toni Vasquez; his girlfriend, Mariana DeLuna Ibarra; his best friend, Josiah Quiroz.
Viewing services will be held on Monday, June 2nd, 2025, at 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Thomason Funeral Home 2001 Ranch Road 12, San Marcos, TX.
Church services will take place at PromiseLand Church on Tuesday, June 3rd at 10:00 AM.
Immediately following the church service, we will proceed to Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale for Andrew's burial. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Andrew, please visit our Tree Store.
