Andrew Rossi Obituary
Born and raised in Lawrence, MA, Andrew was the son of the late Andrea Rossi, Sr., and Giovaninna (Fici) Rossi. His beloved sister, Josephine (Rossi) Cyr, also predeceased him. A proud veteran, he honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After his discharge, he married the love of his life, Lucille, with whom he shared 64 wonderful years until her passing in 2021.
Andrew built a successful career as a mechanical design engineer, working for several government contractors before becoming self-employed and later retiring. A man of deep faith, he was an active member of St. Michael Parish, where he and Lucille taught CCD and participated in numerous parish activities. Known for his generosity, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends.
In his free time, Andrew enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and playing cards at the Andover/North Andover Senior Centers. He cherished summers in Ocean Park, ME, and treasured time spent with his family and friends.
Andrew is survived by son, Andrew A. Rossi, III and wife Judy of Methuen, MA; daughter, Mary Beth Rossi and Peter Zaterka of North Andover, MA; grandchildren, Ashley and her husband Jesse Bean; Andrew A. Rossi, IV and wife Amie; Jacqueline Rossi and fiancé Robert Sousa; great-granddaughters, Charlotte Marie Lucille Rossi and Abigail Elizabeth Bean. Andrew will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the Rossi family ask donations be made to Tunnel to Towers or Wounded Warriors.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Michael Church, 196 Main Street, North Andover. Entombment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
