Anita Reynolds (Gauthier) Carlson, age 77, died at home on September 5, 2025, following a difficult struggle with brain cancer. Born in Attleboro, MA, on November 25, 1947, she was raised in Assonet and graduated from Apponequet Regional High School in 1965. For most of her adult life, she resided in Attleboro. Anita worked for many years as a legal secretary at the law firm of Morgan Lewis in Boston. She was the widow of Francis Gauthier and Ronald Carlson, Sr.

She is survived by her two daughters: Jacqueline (Gauthier) Billard of Norton and Katherine Gauthier of Weymouth. Anita was very proud of her two grandchildren: Daniel and Emily Billard, both of Norton. Her brother, Ronald Reynolds, lives in Bridgewater, and nephews Douglas and Geoffrey Reynolds both reside in Billerica.
After retiring ten years ago, she enjoyed spending much of her time with family, as well as scrapbooking, crafting, gardening, and traveling. She was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Attleboro.

Arrangements will be carried out by the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home in North Attleboro, and a funeral will take place at the Evangelical Covenant Church on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be beside her first husband, Francis Gauthier, at North Purchase Cemetery, which is adjacent to the Evangelical Covenant Church in Attleboro.
