ANITA LOWE (NEE TRACY), AGE 89, WENT HOME TO BE WITH HER LORD ON TUESDAY DECEMBER 31, 2024.
MAMA (AS ALL HER CHILDREN GRANDCHILDREN AND GREAT GRANDS CALL HER), WAS BORN JUNE 29TH, 1935 IN SAINT THOMAS, JAMAICA WEST INDIES TO ELLA WRIGHT (HER MOTHER), AND MISTER TRACEY (HER FATHER).
AFTER LEAVING SCHOOL, MAMA WORKED VERY HARD TO CENTER HER LIFE, WHILE RAISING THE 4 CHILDREN GOD HAD BLESSED HER WITH. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, MAMA MIGRATED TO CANADA WITH HER HUSBAND AUBREY LOWE (WHO TRANSITIONED IN 2019), BEFORE THEY FINALLY SETTLED IN NEW YORK.
MAMA LIVED AND WORKED IN NEW YORK UNTIL HER RETIREMENT WHERE SHE MOVED TO FLORIDA. ALL WHO KNEW MAMA WILL TELL YOU SHE IS A FUNNY LADY WHO WILL MAKE A JOKE FROM ANYTHING. SHE TOLD ME A FEW DAYS AGO THAT IF SOMEONE HAD TOLD HER OLD AGE CAME WITH PAIN SHE WOULD HAVE TOLD THEM SHE WILL TAKE A PASS.
MAMA IS ALWAYS WELL DRESSED AND PROPERLY MADE UP BECAUSE SHE BELIEVES IF YOU ARE FINE, PEOPLE SHOULD SEE IT (NATURALLY SHE CHUCKLES WHILE PROVIDING THAT PIECE OF WISDOM).
HER WEEKENDS ARE USUALLY SPENT TALKING ON THE PHONE WITH HER GRANDSONS (OR AS SHE REFERS TO THEM; HER SONS), AND GOING TO CHURCH..
MAMA IS SURVIVED BY HER 4 DAUGHTERS: CLAUDETTE, MAXINE, JUDITH AND LLOY, HER 14 GRANDCHILDREN AND HER 28 GREAT GRAND CHILDREN, FAMILY, FRIENDS, CHURCH SISTERS AND BROTHERS, AND ACQUANTANCIES.

To Lloy and family. Please accept my condolences in the passing of your mom. She was a beautiful lady. Each time I look on the Alter at First Presbyterian Church of Williamsbridge the beautiful Bible she gave on leaving to Florida.
We will hold the family in our prayers.
RIEP. Mama Lowe.
Carey.
