Ann M. Decker Loving Mother and Grandmother Ann Marie Decker (Kenney), age 95, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025, in her hometown of Lowell, MA. Born on September 4, 1929, in Lowell, Ann remained deeply connected to the city throughout her life. One of seven children raised on Lincoln Street, Ann developed a tenacious spirit that carried her through nearly a century of life. She graduated from Keith Hall in 1948 and went on to lead a multifaceted career while raising a family. Over the years, she served as an organist for local churches and chapels, worked at a bank, taught in classrooms, and held the position of bookkeeper at a Donahue and Donahue Law Firm. Her ability to balance professional responsibilities with family life was a testament to her strength and dedication. Ann was married to Ted Decker for 67 years until his passing in 2018. Together they built a loving home and raised their children with care and devotion. She enjoyed many winters at Ormond Beach Florida with her husband Ted. Ann is survived by her daughter Martha Clark and her husband William of Groton, and her son Theodore M. Decker, Jr. of Lowell. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, William Clark, III, Jennifer Moreau, Bryant Clark, and Ashley Strobridge, her 10 great grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews. A devoted Catholic throughout her life, Ann was a faithful member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lowell. Her faith was central to her identity and guided her actions both within her family and the broader community. Ann also found joy in social connection and civic engagement. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society and participated in numerous other local organizations. Her presence was felt across many corners of the community where she gave generously of her time and talents. May Ann's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. Ann was also the sister of the late Sr. Genevieve Kenney, SSMN, Patricia Conley, Constance Dempsey, Mary Hutton, and Raymond and John Kenney. FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND ANN'S CALLING HOURS ON FRIDAY MORNING, AUGUST 22, 2025, FROM 9 AM UNTIL 10:30 AM AT THE FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL.
