Ann Marie Hornberger, 87, longtime resident of Loyalsock Twp., passed on Oct. 5, 2025, at Muncy Place.
She was born in Williamsport on May 28, 1938, a daughter to the late Harry B. and Gertrude M. (Shadle) Bower.
Ann was a graduate of the former St. Mary's High School, and retired from Divine Providence Hospital's business office as a billing clerk. Her husband, Richard B. Hornberger, preceded her in death on November 16, 1978.
She is survived by their children, Lynn Psik (Jim), Richard Hornberger, David Hornberger (Angela Nagy), and Greg Hornberger (Christine), all of Williamsport; grandchildren Brittany, Cameron, Ariel, Ian, Karissa, Mallee, Mia, Andrew, and Kristen; as well as great-grandchildren Addalyn, Everett, Elias, and Welles.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ann was preceded in death by brothers, David Bower and Lester Bower. Ann enjoyed many years of crafting with her best friends, Marty and Paulette, who also preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann Catholic Church, 1220 Northway Rd., Williamsport PA 17701, at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
The family will receive friends and family from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport PA 17701.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions be made to the Susquehanna Health Foundation for the benefit of the Gatehouse, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport PA 17701 in Ann's name.
