Ann McIntosh (Roberts), age 78, of Wilder, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Fort Thomas. Born on July 13, 1947, in Jackson, Kentucky, Ann was the daughter of the late Eldon Roberts Sr. and Marie (Bush) Roberts. Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, having owned and operated several McIntosh Grocery Stores in Newport and Covington. Beyond her business, she was known for her kindness, generosity, and love for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, William McIntosh Sr. Ann is survived by her sons, William Wilson McIntosh Jr. (Christina), Thomas Wayne McIntosh and Frederick Scott McIntosh; her brothers, Thurlin "Rue" Roberts and Eldon Roberts Jr. (Nancy); six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and family devotion that will continue to live on in all who knew her. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ann's life at Alexandria Funeral Home, 325 Washington Street, Alexandria, Kentucky 41001, on Friday, September 12, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Highland Cemetery.
