Ann Hash Newnum (née Hutchinson) passed away on August 19, 2024, in Nixa, Missouri, at the age of 71. Born on October 27, 1952, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Leland Charles and Helen Maxine (née Hash) Hutchinson, she spent her life nurturing a family and building a legacy of love and kindness that touched everyone she knew.
Ann is survived by her loving husband, Donald Roy Newnum; her daughter, Ashley Ann Newnum; her biological grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ann and Christopher Roy; her step-grandchild, Kaylee Rain; and her grandson-in-law, D'Angelo Mathis. She also leaves behind several members of her husband's family and a few cousins from her own family, and several friends who were like family to Ann and Don and Ashley.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Leland Charles and Helen Maxine (Hash) Hutchinson, and her husband's parents, Roy Lee and Gretchel Irene (Kemp) Newnum, along with several members from both sides of their families.
Ann's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her husband of 51 years, her unconditional love for her family and her ability to bring warmth and joy to those around her. Her legacy will continue to live on through the lives of those she loved and cared for. Ann will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
