Lyndon Bains Mullins, 60, of Mountain View, MO passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025. He was born January 18, 1965, to Oxford and Lottie Mullins in Eminence, MO

In life Lyndon was a loving husband, wonderful father, great friend and brother; preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Milly, and survived by his children, Bryndon and Alexis.

The youngest of seven children, Lyndon met Milly in high school and shortly after completed his GED, completed basic training and then decided to return home. At the age of 18 he and Milly eloped and were married. They moved to Springfield where he went to a trade school to be a mechanic, and she worked. Four years after they were married, I was born and seven years after Alexis was born.

Over the years he has had many interests; including working on cars and motorcycles, drag racing, raising and riding horses, computers and video games, to name a few. There are many stories that his family and friends can share about my father and many more that shouldn't be shared in a public forum like this. None of which will be forgotten.

No matter the job he worked or the difficulties he faced; he always loved his wife, his children and his grandchildren above all else. Regardless of the time or place he would always have time for his family, friends and pets. He did everything he could and sacrificed everything for us and for that we are grateful. You taught me everything I know and for that I thank you.

We will always have you within our hearts, so now I hope you enjoy some well-deserved rest with mom.
