A beloved mother and grandmother, Ann cherished her family above all else, finding joy in talking with them on the phone and spoiling her grandchildren and pets.
Her love for life extended to her favorite pastimes, reading the bible, enjoying Gaither Gospel Music and the timeless tunes of Elvis Presley. Zipporah Lance-Root, Ishariah Lance-Root both of the home (Elijah). Elizabeth "Abigail" Root, Magaret "Maisy" Root, Maureen "Moxie" Root, Penelope "Poppy" Root all of the home (Benjamin).
Ann also claimed foster children, Lori Slead Davis and Aaron Davis of Emporia KS, Nyke and Nichole Bowen Gatlin of Mesa AZ, Fairrah Haberman of Seward KS, Will and Chelsea Medlock of Raytown MO, Dallas Marlowe and Amber Huffman of Stafford KS, Brandi Horne and Casey Jackson of Saint Augustine FL. She loved her foster Kids as her own and all their children were considered honorary grandchildren of Granny Annie and Papa Root and spoiled accordingly.
