Anna Marie (Losciuto) Benjamino, of Randolph, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, after a period of failing health, at the age of 90. Born on November 24, 1934, in Boston
The daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Cornellissen) Losciuto, Anna carried the warmth of her family's love throughout her life. She was the beloved wife of the late Osmond J. "Ozzie" Benjamino, Ret. Randolph Police Chief, whose love story was one for the ages. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, support, and mutual respect.
A loving mother, Anna's nurturing spirit was a cornerstone in the lives of her children Dawn Damon and her husband Rick of Middleboro, Wayne Benjamino of Duxbury, Terese "Terry" Benjamino of Randolph, Lance Benjamino, Ret Middleboro Fire Chief and his wife Kathleen of Hanson, and the late Marc Benjamino. Her guidance and gentle nature were her gifts to them, shaping their lives with enduring affection.
Anna's siblings, the late Joseph Losciuto and Lorraine Gafney, shared in the joyous journey of life with her. She was a dear sister-in-law to Mitchell Benjamino and his wife Dianne of Randolph, and will be fondly remembered for her warmth and the special times they shared.
The cherished "Mimi" to Angelina Silva, Dominic Ricciarelli, Jacquelynn Sousa, Joseph Benjamino, Kayla Mey, and Marc Benjamino, Anna's legacy of love extended to her adored grandchildren. Her influence will continue to live on through the lessons she imparted and the memories they hold dear.
Anna's life was further enriched by the joy of her great-grandchildren, whom she adored, and the many nieces and nephews who brought additional laughter and brightness to her world. Each of them held a special place in her heart, as she did in theirs.
Her education at Stetson High School in Randolph laid the foundation for a life marked by a strong work ethic and a commitment to community. Anna's career as a hostess at the restaurant in the Sheraton Tara Hotel in Braintree saw her welcoming guests with her signature grace and charm, making everyone feel at home.
Anna's interests were a reflection of her love for creating beauty and her enjoyment of simple pleasures. She was a skilled craftswoman, sewing, knitting, and crocheting treasures like baby blankets and sweaters for family and friends. Her hands were rarely still, always busy with the next project that would bring comfort and joy to others.
An avid Bingo player, Anna's competitive spirit was always accompanied by her infectious laughter and the camaraderie of good friends. She also found pleasure in playing cards, a pastime that brought many spirited family gatherings.
In her flower garden, Anna found peace and satisfaction, tending to her plants with the same care she gave to her relationships. Her cooking was another expression of her love, with each meal prepared being a testament to her desire to nurture those around her.
Spending time with her family and friends was Anna's greatest joy. Her home was a haven where all were welcome, and her presence was a gentle, loving embrace that drew people in.
Anna's life was a lesson in kindness, her gentle spirit touching all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and the gentle imprint of her life well-lived. Her little buddy "Wimbly" will miss her comforting presence, as will all who were blessed to know her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, October 29th, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (RT. 28), Randolph.
