Donna Gayle (Zirngiebel) Muller, of Kingston, formerly of Brockton and Randolph, a beacon of kindness and generosity, passed away after a long illness, on October 11, 2025. Born on July 30, 1958, in Brockton, Donna was the loving daughter of the late George and Edith (Glover) Zirngiebel and the cherished wife of the late John P. Muller.
Donna's warmth and compassion knew no bounds. She was the devoted sister of Jean Gredler and her husband Matthew of Hilton Head Island, SC, and George Zirngiebel, Jr. of Abington. Her role as a cherished aunt was one she held dear, bringing joy and laughter to Michelle, Scott, George, Amy, Bob, Mila, Chuck, Michelle, Ricky, Christine, Michael, Ashley, and Casey. As a great aunt, her loving embrace extended to Samantha, Olivia, Louie, Lucy, Joe, Grace, Thomas, Clare, Candace, Cheryl, Demitrius, Sherry, Angela, Alecia, Rylee, Reese, and Blake. Donna's presence was a gift to her many godchildren and she will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law, Patricia Zirngiebel of Wareham.
A proud graduate of Randolph High School, Class of 1976, Donna furthered her education at Massasoit College, where she earned an Associate Degree. Her professional journey began at James Fitzgerald Insurance Agency in Brockton, a place of significance as it was there she met her beloved husband John. In 1992, Donna brought her talents to AAA in Rockland, excelling in multiple roles and eventually becoming Manager of the Quincy AAA office. Her dedication to helping others continued in 2011, as she served as a home health aide before fully devoting herself to the care of her parents until her retirement in 2022.
Donna's commitment to service was exemplified through her active membership in the Quincy and Randolph Chapters of the Lions Club. Her leadership as the Past President of the Quincy Lions Club and her meticulous work as Cabinet Secretary Treasurer for District 33K Lions were testaments to her passion for community involvement. She thrived on meeting new people, organizing raffles, and spearheading various activities, all with her signature sense of humor.
An excellent cook, Donna often donated her culinary talents to family and friend celebrations, leaving a legacy of cherished memories and satisfied palates. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore the world, with travels to Ireland, Scotland, England, and Wales, enriching her life with diverse experiences and friendships.
Above all, Donna's love for her family and friends was boundless. She was the best aunt to her nieces, nephews, and godchildren, always there with a listening ear, an encouraging word, and a heart full of love. Her generous spirit and loving nature left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
As we celebrate Donna's life, we reflect on a woman who embodied love, kindness, and generosity. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her, and her memory will be treasured forever in the hearts of her loved ones.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, October 22nd, from 9:30 – 11:30 AM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St., Randolph. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:30 AM in the Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at the Pine Hill Cemetery in W. Bridgewater, at a later date.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Kingston Fire Department's Ambulance Fund, 105 Pembroke St., Kingston, MA 02364.
