Anna Curtin, age 76 of Bonita Springs, FL, formerly of Weymouth.
Anna was an amazingly strong woman who lived her life with one guiding purpose: to make everyone around her feel loved, welcomed, and included. Her kindness was not loud or showy, but steady and genuine, touching countless lives in ways both big and small. Anna passed away on December 19, 2025, leaving a legacy of love, strength, and inclusion.
Born and raised in Lynn, MA, Anna graduated from Lynn English High School before attending Ohio State University. It was the foundation for a life defined by dedication to both her professional passions and her beloved family.
Anna’s professional passion was found in finance and banking. After starting her career at Charlestown Savings Bank and gaining experience at Weymouth Savings, she enjoyed a long and successful tenure retiring as Vice President of South Shore Savings Bank. Her dedication as an executive, her integrity, and her innate warmth left a lasting impression on her colleagues, local businesses, and the residents of her proud town of Weymouth, MA.
Anna lived her life by the sentiment famously captured in the "Man in the Arena":

For 55 beautiful years, Anna shared a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure with her devoted husband, Gary. Together, they built a marriage rooted in deep companionship and mutual respect, creating a lifetime of treasured memories. After retiring, they moved to Bonita Springs, Florida. There, they embraced an active and joyful retirement at Worthington Country Club, where they created lifelong friendships that became an extension of their family.
Anna was an extremely proud mother of her son Christopher and his wife Heather, and her daughter Melanie. Nothing, however, brought her greater joy than her role as "GiGi" to her grandchildren, Morgan and Ryland, whom she adored beyond measure and cherished every moment spent together.
Dear sister of Dwight Neves and his wife Pam, Lili Mayer and her husband Jeffrey, Manny Neves and his wife Sheila. Loving sister-in-law of the late James Curtin and his surviving wife Mary Curtin. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews who will forever remember her kindness as their "Auntie Anna."
A celebration of Anna’s life will be held this spring in Weymouth, MA.
