Anna M. (Muise) Howe, 96, a longtime resident of Randolph, died peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Ruth McLain Hospice Home in Braintree, after a period of declining health. Daughter of the late Peter B. and Cecelia (Porter) Muise, she was born in Boston, raised in East Boston and graduated from East Boston High School. In 1952, she married George R. Howe, and together they shared 67 years of marriage and raised their two beloved daughters before his passing in 2019. She has resided in Randolph for the past 64 years. Anna worked as a seamstress at the Sealy Mattress Company in Randolph for many years, retiring at age 62. She was a dedicated wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, reading and traveling but her greatest joy was spending time her family.
Anna is survived by her children, Rosemarie Barry and her husband Roger of Pembroke and Debra Sera and her husband Stephen of Randolph. She was the grandmother of Christopher, Heather, Stephanie, Leigh-Ann and Matthew and the great-grandmother of Brayden, Avery, Amberly, Zoey and Madison. She was the sister of Helen Reilly and Leo Muise both of New York and the late Thomas Muise, Barbara Bureau and Marie Kilduff. She is also survived by her longtime friend, Sonya Fernandez and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, April 22 from 10-11:30 AM followed by Funeral Prayers at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna‘s memory may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley St., West Bridgewater, MA 02379 www.oldcolonyhospice.org
