Anna Catherine Luckett, 97, died Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Baptist Hospital.
Born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 23, 1928, Anna lived a long, fulfilling life.
After graduating from Presentation Academy in 1946, she graduated St. Helen's Business College. She married Mark Wathen Luckett on September 5, 1953, and enjoyed 68 years of marriage to her best friend and provided a home for her seven children.
Anna was preceded in death by parents, Catherine Laing and Rodman Medley, her husband Mark W. Luckett, her grandson Edward W Luckett, her sister Ruthie Hawkins, brothers Johnny Medley and Donald Medley.
She is survived by her children Tom (Maria) Luckett, Susan (Steve) Stine, Diane Peckinpaugh, Judy (Mark) Meeks, Daniel J. Luckett, Paul (Terri) Luckett, Carol Luckett; brothers Kenny Medley and Richard (Martha) Medley, sisters Mary Lou (Harry) Johnson, and Carolyn Medley. Anna leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and her devotion to her family. Her Mass of Chistian
Burial will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday August 12, 2025 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3509 Taylor Boulevard, with burial to follow at Saint Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday August 11, 2025 from 4 to 8 PM at Bosse Funeral Home 1355 Ellison Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky, 40204.
