Anna Mae Pike, 83, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2024 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham.
Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart School. Online condolences may be shared at www.johnsonandsonsfh.com.
Anna Mae was born on November 6, 1940, in Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of Adolph and Magdalen (Grunloh) Willenborg. She married Ralph Pike on August 27, 1960. He preceded her in death on November 17, 2010.
Anna Mae was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Effingham and the Altar Sodality. She also volunteered at the church for numerous activities. Anna Mae was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved cooking, gardening, flowers, hummingbirds, and playing cards with others. Her pies and noodles were the best.
Anna Mae is survived by her children, Curt (Frances) Pike of St. Charles, MO, Ron (Nila) Pike of Mason, and Lori (James) Rutledge of Effingham; grandchildren, Jeff (Jennifer) Pike, Thomas Pike, Nicole (Andrew) Slavens, Jason (Amber) Pike, and Hannah (Bruce) Ha; great-grandchildren, Austin Pike, Kylie Slavens, Derek Slavens, and two on the way; siblings, Kathleen Westjohn, Dorothy Willenborg, Clarita (Craig) Delargy, James (Jean) Willenborg, and Raymond (Linda) Willenborg; and sisters-in-law, Mary Broom and the late Patricia Pike.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Ralph.

She was a quiet,kind person.We lived in same area. For several years she rode with me every Monday to Effingham senior bldg. She drove herself some as well.
