Phyllis C. Moliere (Gorka), 75, formerly of Mount Prospect, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 30th, 2025, at Stonebridge Memory Care in Effingham.

Phyllis was born on February 13, 1950, in Chicago, the daughter of Frank and Jean (Crema) Gorka. She spent most of her life in the Chicagoland area where she was a loving mother, devoted friend and cherished neighbor. Phyllis was an active member in both her church and community where she was an avid volunteer. She loved fall, Halloween and was the Beatles' biggest fan. She was also very fond of dogs and enjoyed walking and spending time with her fuzzy four-legged companions. Phyllis and her former spouse, Robert J. Moliere Jr., had two children together.

Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Dina (Christopher) Baptist and Fallon (Don) Milton; brothers, Paul (Marianne) Gorka and Raymond (Debi) Gorka; her four-legged companions, Cali and Dakota; and many grand-animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Michael.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at St. Raymond's Catholic Church, 301 S. I-Oka Avenue, Mount Prospect, Illinois. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
