Anna Wolbach Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home Inc. on Mar. 26, 2024.
Anna Marie Wolbach, 92, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2024 in Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown. She was the loving and cherished wife of the late Kenneth J. Wolbach, who passed away on April 3, 2023. Ken and Anna Marie were able to share 65 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Anna T. (Miller) Lucas. Anna Marie was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School in South Bethlehem. She worked for the former Bell Telephone Company in Allentown. She was a faithful member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown.
Anna Marie was a member of several women's auxiliaries including Lehigh Valley Hospital, Sacred Heart Hospital, and St. Thomas More Church. She participated in their craft groups and fundraising activities. She was most proud of her many years of volunteer service at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.
Anna Marie often recalled growing up in the South Bethlehem community with its strong family presence. She enjoyed many long lasting high school friendships and school reunions. Close proximity to Lehigh University provided an opportunity to meet her husband Ken. Ken and Anna Marie were able to attend sporting events and get-togethers with friends for many years.
Anna Marie was a kind and compassionate person who was always considerate and polite to others. She was a loving and supportive mother, grandmother, sister, and godmother. She looked forward to family picnics, holiday celebrations, and travel vacations. Anna Marie appreciated music and enjoyed attending Symphony Hall and Broadway shows.
Anna Marie's family would like to thank the staff at Mosser Nursing Home for her recent care and companionship.
Survivors: Daughter: Carol A. Morris of Easton, Granddaughter: Kimberly E. Morris of Easton, Sister: Mary Jane Kacsur of Bethlehem, and Nephews and Nieces. Predeceased by her sister Loretta Culligan.
