RICHFIELD SPRINGS-Anne Hornacek, 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, June 4, 2022 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown. She at one time was a member of the Richfield Springs Veterans Club Ladies Auxiliary. In her leisure time she enjoyed working in both her flower and vegetable gardens, going to the horse races and casinos, and following her favorite baseball team, the New York Yankees. Anne was genuinely happiest when she was surrounded by her many friends and family, especially her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Surviving are her four daughters, Linda O'Connor of Richfield Springs, Christine Slocum and her husband Gregg of Liverpool, Susan Daley and her husband Bob of Latham, and Kathryn VanNess of Aberdeen, NJ, her sister Mary Sadlon of Richfield Springs, seven grandchildren, Michael, Kristin, John, Louis, Bobby, Alexa and Marissa, four great-grandchildren, Chloe, Gavin, Charlie and Avery, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
