We have such fond memories of Anne when she came to visit us in Minnesota. I know my grandmother, Julie, was so proud of Anne and her accomplishments. We loved hearing about all her interesting travels. She had so much energy! Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

My sincere condolences to your family. I had the privilege of knowing your mother. As a member of Phi Upsilon Omicron, I can remember her reading the passage about the qualities of a "Virtuous Woman" during our candlelight installation ceremonies. The Betty Lamp was the symbol of the American Home Economics Association and it would be difficult to find a person who personified this "guiding light"better than Dr. Lee. She was a student of life who always lived life to its fullest inspiring us all to do our best.

It was such a pleasure to have Dr. Anne Lee in our 100th Anniversary celebration of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences held in September of 2008 during the Indiana Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Annual Conference. Her energy and her spunk were delightful. As our oldest member and herself nearly 100 at the time, it was a remarkable evening as she spoke to us and we sang happy birthday to her. She enjoyed every minute of it and so did we. My condolences to all of her family.
