She was born July 12, 1936, in Erie, PA, the daughter of the late Ralph and Isabel Davis.
Anne was raised in Meadville and graduated from Meadville High School in 1954. She graduated from Carnegie Institute of Technology in 1958 and married Erkki Rainesalo. She taught French, English and History for the Corry Area School District for 17 years. In 1981, she and her husband moved to Houston, TX where she taught at the Spring Independent School District in Spring, TX from 1982 through 1988 and the Tenney School for 9 years, before retiring in 1997. Anne and Erkki were full time RVers until 2015, when they returned to Corry to live.
She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Meadville, PA. In college, she was in Sigma Kappa sorority and the College Women's Club. Anne enjoyed cross stitching, reading, and traveling.
Anne is survived by her husband, Erkki, daughter Karin, and two sons David and Chris. No services will be held.
Memorials may be made to the Corry Public Library, 117 W. Washington St, Corry PA 16407.
Arrangements are under the care of Bracken Funeral Home, Inc., 315 N. Center St, Corry, PA 16407.
