A celebration of life will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Wolfe Funeral Home Chapel, with Chaplain Vivian Boyd officiating.. The family will receive friends following the service.
A native of Indian Land, Annette was the daughter of Margaret Griffin Morris and the late Charles Lathan Morris. She was a graduate of Lancaster Adult Education High School and was a Business Project Senior Analyst with Cigna. Annette loved geology, especially volcanoes. She enjoyed listening to Collective Soul music and attending their concerts, and doing diamond art.
Annette is survived by her mother, Margaret Griffin Morris; her daughter, Heather Helms of Peachland, N.C.; two sisters, Kelly M. Martin (Darrell) of Lincolnton, NC, and Amy M. Kelly (Chad) of Indian Land; four nieces, Jes Hibbeler (Todd), Shelby Knight (Lane), Savannah Kelly and Payton Kelly; two nephews, Jacob Garvey and Will Martin; great-niece, Sadie Knight; great-nephew, August Hibbeler; and her special fur babies.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Helms (2018) and her father, Charles Lathan Morris (2023).
