Annie Belle Rickert, of Pauls Valley, passed away September 2, 2025 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years.
Annie Belle Williams was born October 24, 1930 at home in the Walker Community near Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Ruben D. 'Rube' and Minnie Lorene Williams. When she was small her parents moved around a bit as part of their job but always considered Pauls Valley their home. She and John Henry Rickert were married in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on April 12, 1949. Among other jobs that she had held, she worked as Quality Control Inspector at Kellwood here in Pauls Valley and was a member of Pauls Valley Church of Christ.
She enjoyed attending Blue Grass festivals, vacationing with her family, sewing, crossword puzzles and computer word games. She especially enjoyed being with her church family and reading her Bible and Louie Lamor books. She was very glad that she lived long enough to see Donald Trump elected to his second term.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben 'Rube' D. and Minnie Lorene Williams; her husband, John Henry Rickert; 2 sisters, Maudie Lee Wright and her husband, Jimmy; Ruby Dee Hamilton and her husband, Frank; and 1 brother, Mack D. Williams.
Annie Belle is survived by her children, Debbie Rickert and John 'Rick' Rickert and his wife, Ruth; one sister, Linda Brown; and one brother and his wife, John and Lela Williams; as well as a host of nieces and nephews; and her 4-legged grandkids, Miss Kitty, Twiggy, Gigi and Shai.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 8, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery Pavilion officiated by Chris Kidwell.
A private interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. We invite you to send words of comfort to the family at www.stufflebeanfuneralhome.com.
