Mary Alice Adams was born May 19th, 1946, in Lawton, Oklahoma, and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 5, 2025.
A lifelong resident of Paoli, Alice dedicated her life and talents to her work as a seamstress and being a wonderful mother, grandmother and wife.
Alice married Bobbie Adams on June 14th, 1964. She shared 44 wonderful years of marriage with him. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and faith. Together they raised three daughters, Michelle Terry, Stacey Sharp, and Leesa Lockard, who were her greatest joy and center of her world. Alice was a proud Memaw to Lynnsee Noel, Bryan Adams, Cody Sharp, Cannon Sharp, Nathan Hector, and Nicholas Hector. She was also blessed great grandchildren Maryssa Noel, Kylee Noel, Emily Sharp, Eli Sharp, Victoria Sharp, Raiden Hector and Lakota Hector, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobbie Adams, parents, Eliffus and Mary Rowell, siblings, Levi Rowell, Eliffus Rowell, Jr, Deborah Morphew, Josh Rowell, Janie Vickery, William Rowell, Sally Rowell, and infant sibling.
Alice shared her last 8 years with her husband Jerry Norman. They had a consistent routine of where they would eat out each evening. They also took care of their 3 dogs who kept them company, kept them busy, and kept the entertained.
Alice will be remembered for her warmth, her steady devotion to her family, and her quiet strength. She found happiness in simple moments - family gatherings, heartfelt conversations, and the love of those closest to her.
She is survived by her siblings, Ruth and husband Rick Mitchum, Vicki and husband Denver Robbins, Jim and wife Belinda Rowell, her 3 daughters, Michelle and husband, Jerry Terry, Stacey and husband Tommy Sharp, Leesa and husband, Ace Lockard, her grandchildren, Lynnsee and Andy Noel, Bryan Adams, Cody Sharp and wife Leslie, Cannon Sharp and wife, Alexis, Nathan Hector, Nicholas Hector and wife Haylie, her great grandchildren who will carry her love and legacy forward.
The family will greet friends for a visitation and viewing on Wednesday, September 10th at the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 10:30 am at the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Tommy Sharp. Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
Alice's life was a gift and her love and legacy will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
