On Saturday, April 26, 2025, Anthony DeShawn Brown ("Bubba") loving father, son, grandson, uncle, brother, nephew and cousin was taken from this life at the age of 25, leaving a void in our lives that words cannot fully express.
Anthony was born on October 28, 1999, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Anthony was a welder and worked for Alliance Steel. Anthony was a bright light in our family. His smile could light up a room, and his laughter was infectious. His spirit was kind, caring, and full of life, and his heart was bigger than anyone could imagine.
As a father to two beautiful daughters, Luna and Ariah, Anthony was a devoted and loving father. He adored his girls and despite his young age, he showed remarkable compassion in his role as a father. The bond he shared with them was immeasurable.
Anthony had a passion for music, especially Fetty Wap, anything Polo, and above all his family. His enthusiasm for life was evident in everything he did. Whether he was working on cars with his grandfather, making music with his father, or watching Mikey and JJ with his baby brother, he approached it with a joy that inspired those around him. Anthony frequently spent time with his siblings, nieces and nephews who called him Bubba and Uncle Bubba. He had a unique ability to connect with others, making lasting friendships wherever he went. His family and friends will remember him as someone who was always there to lend a helping hand, a listening ear, or a word of encouragement when it was needed most.
Anthony was preceded in death by his grandfather, Chales Boston. He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Martha and Larry Brown and his paternal grandmother, Caletta Boston; his daughters: Luna Davis and Ariah Brown; his mother, Sheila Marie Brown; his father and stepmother Jason LaVar Boston and Lea Boston; his siblings: Jasmine Boston, Julia Boston, Angelo Brown, Keiosha Crutchfield, Janitra Boston, Ty'Shauna Crutchfield, JaMela Boston, Sherry Kovach, Leilani Smith, Madelyn Smith, Eliana Lopez, and Jayci Boston; his nieces and nephews: Shamia, Amari, Kingdom, Ameyah, Zaniya, and Jaelynn; his aunt, uncles, and cousin. Anthony leaves behind a wealth of friends.
We will honor Anthony's life on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Candlewood Chapel, Ford Funeral Services, 305 S. Sooner Rd., Midwest City, Oklahoma, at 10:00 a.m. where we will gather to celebrate his life, share memories, and support each other through this heartbreaking loss.
Though he may no longer be with us in person, Anthony will forever remain in our hearts, and his memory will continue to inspire us each and every day. May he rest in peace, knowing he was loved beyond measure. We will always carry you with us and strive to honor your memory, we love you Bubba.
