I first met Dr Carbo "Tony" on my first day on the job as an ER nurse at Crozer in 1975. I was 22 years old. Working with Tony was always a pleasure. He treated everyone with respect. I never saw him angry. I never heard anyone speak badly about him, except for his mistaken misuse of the Biocom. For those that know, you know.
I was kept informed of Tony's health and eventual passing through a mutual friend. I'm glad I was able to attend the funeral services and spend some time speaking with his devoted family members. I really like Tony's memorial card with a picture of him playing golf. On the back it begins with " I like the memory of me to be a happy one "...
For me, it always will be. My deepest condolences to Tony's dear family, friends and colleagues.

I have know Doc. since his days at the Prep. Hi\e is one of the many Doctors that came out of the 1963 classes of the Prep and Bonner. Many of those went into private practice but not doc. The emergency room was his thing and man was he good at it. Doc did not work the ER he was the ER. Unfortunately yet lucky I ran into Doc in the ER when I lived in Ridley. Did a great job as always. If I am correct Doc drove an Internationa Harvester Jeep (not many of those in DELCO)
Doc I am so proud to have known you , you were a classic example of the talent that came out of the class of 1963. RIP Congratulations on a job well done, and a life well lived.

Anthony was a true gentleman. He was a pleasure to be around even during his poor health days. I will remember his quiet demeanor and his love for family.
