Anthony Hasara Obituary

Anthony dedicated over 20 years of his career as a Building Engineer at Peirce College, and more recently, Lead HVAC Mechanic at Jefferson Abington Hospital. His expertise and commitment were evident in his work, and he was respected and well-liked by his colleagues.
When he wasn't working, Anthony was a longtime hockey player, loved his Philadelphia Flyers and attended many games over the years as a longtime season ticket holder. He also enjoyed watching the Eagles play as well. Traveling was another favorite of his, especially trips to Nashville, the Grand Canyon, and Sedona. However, above all else, Anthony remained devoted to his family and friends, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it
Anthony is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa (McGrory) Hasara, and their devoted children, Shannon Stone (David), Ryan Hasara (Shannon), and Anthony Hasara. He was a devoted and loving grandfather to Samantha, David, and Harrison and eagerly anticipating the arrival of a granddaughter. Anthony was also a cherished brother to Kathleen Schmitt (Bob), Karen Campbell (Jim), Mariann Pace (Joe), Joseph Hasara, and Eugene Hasara.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Anthony's life on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 9:30am until his funeral Mass begins at 10:30 AM, at Saint Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Interment will follow at Lawnview Cemetery.
Anthony J. Hasara will forever be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering dedication to family, and genuine willingness to help others. His family requests contributions in his memory to St. Catherine's Infirmary at St. Vincent's Seminary | 500 East Chelten Avenue | Philadelphia PA 19144.

I had the pleasure to work with Tony for over 20 years. I was blessed to have the opportunity to know him and his family. I watched his children come through Peirce college and graduate. His wife Theresa was always kind to me and Latasha. Tony attended my wedding. We would meet for lunch after Drake in jenkintown. We would both order the bacon, mac, and cheese. That was a must-have for both of us. Tony was such a dear friend and I will miss him. Tasha and I love you Tony. We love the Hasara family!
