Tony was born September 30, 1946 in St Louis, Missouri the eldest of three children to Anthony H. Karrenbrock Sr. and Ida E. (Haenchen) Karrenbrock. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He graduated from St. Louis University and went on to earn his PhD in chemistry at the University of Michigan. He began his career as a research chemist with Diamond Shamrock Corp. in Mentor, Ohio, moved to Kansas City in 1988 and retired from Boehringer Ingelheim Corp. in St Joseph in 2010.
He was united in marriage to Ann Mattmuller on October 8, 1977.
He is survived by his wife Ann, daughter Paula Brodrick (Johnathon), grandchildren Annabella and Zane Brodrick, sister Karen Linck (John), brother Paul Karrenbrock (Marita), nephew John Linck (Jennifer) their son Jackson, niece Adrienne Linck-Foster her son Easton.
He was a loving and caring husband and father. His dry sense of humor will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to KC Hospice or St Stephen Lutheran Church, Liberty, Missouri.
