Anthony Wayne "Tony" Lilly, 67, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 8th, 2023 at Baptist Health Floyd. He was born in New Albany, Indiana to the late Bernard and Doris Lilly and graduated from New Albany High School. Tony worked many, many years at Samtec as a production operator before retiring. He then spent time enjoying his many hobbies such as traveling with his wife, working on his home and tending to his gardens, recently blossoming his yard with a beautiful lawn of fresh grass. He was a very hard worker who loved to stay busy and learn new things. As a Christian, his faith was paramount, and he valued integrity highly. His greatest passion was his family, cherishing them always.
Tony's memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife of 35 years, Martha; "light of his life" daughter, Eryn Mikesell (Derek); son, Shawn Daniels; brother, David Lilly (Phyllis); sisters, Debbie Redford, Patricia Cullins, Marilyn McCullum; his precious grandsons, Gabriel Daniels, Nash and Leo Mikesell and his adoring chihuahua companion of 10 years, Dottie. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Fred Lilly and Linda Welch.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 13th, 3 – 7pm and Wednesday, June 14th, 11am – 12pm with funeral service to follow at the Oak Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes.
Memorial contributions made in Tony's name may be forwarded to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, but if you would like to send the family flowers, Tony's flower passion was the beautiful sunflower.

Dear Marty, family and friends, I worked with Tony at Samtec from 2000 to the day he called in and yes ,decided, today is the day I am retiring. He was a good friend to me, always with a funny joke, a shoulder to lean on and someone you could always talk to. He always talked about his family and the adventures he shared and had with his family and friends. He loved you all. With Deepest Sympathy, Lee Berry
