Mr. Lucas was born on August 29, 1980, in Columbus, the son of William Dale Lucas and Diana Gail Perdue Fugate. He attended Hope House of Prayer and enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and racing.
Tony was always happy to help out others and had a loving spirit.
Survivors include his sons, Drake and Brody Lucas of North Vernon and siblings Angela Lucas, Mark Lucas, and Kim Loesch.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Ashley Shepherd Lucas; stepfather, Bruce Loesch; brother, Andrew Lucas; grandparents, Bessie Francis and William Owen Perdue and Clinton and Dorothy Lucas; and an aunt, Sharon Lovins.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 3rd at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Rick Leonard officiating.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 11:00 a.m. till time of service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
In memory of Mr. Lucas memorial contributions may be given through the funeral home to the family.
