Antica Bauman, born on March 5, 1951, in Bosanski Šamac, Yugoslavia, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024, at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Antica (Anto) was preceded in death by his parents, Ružica Juric and Leopold Bauman, and his brother, Dragan Bauman. He is survived by his devoted wife, Dimitrina Bauman of Salt Lake City; his sons, Kristijan Bauman (wife Jordyn) of Rexburg, Idaho, and Bojan Bauman of Germany; his daughter, Mirjana Kuzmanovic (husband Dušan) of Switzerland; his brother Miroslav Juric; and his sister Jadranka Tešic. He was a proud grandfather to David and Mia Kuzmanovic.

Throughout his life, Anto demonstrated remarkable resilience and unwavering hope. Despite the challenges he faced, including his courageous battle with cancer, he remained steadfast and optimistic. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, particularly fishing and preparing meals for family and friends. His baklava was especially beloved by all who had the privilege of tasting it.

Above all else, Anto cherished his family. His deep love for them was evident in every aspect of his life and will remain a lasting legacy for those who knew him.

May his memory bring comfort to all who loved him.
