Antonio Mejia was born to Susan Mejia and Raphael Gastelum. Nurtured by his loving grandparents Noe Mejia and Teresa Romero. 

Antonio "Butterz" was a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. As a child he was into martial arts receiving multiple-colored belts, he also enjoyed playing pop warner football for the Broncos and Jaguares. In his adult life he was an artist who found a love for tattooing and had the pleasure of expressing some of his many forms of artwork as a tattoo artist at Purgatory Tattoo Shop in Casa Grande, AZ. As of recently Antonio became a Peer support at Community Bridges in Phoenix AZ. He enjoyed weightlifting, going to the gym, playing basketball as well as cutting hair/barbering. Antonio loved making his own music and time spent with his brothers. Antonio was known for always making others laugh with his funny jokes and fun personality. But mostly he loved the times he spent with his family and friends. 

Antonio is preceded in death by his sis Noelia Gastelum, Grandmothers Evelyn Gastelum and Leona Mejia and Tia Leticia "Sheila" Mejia. He is survived by his three children Destiny Machiche, Izaiah Castro, and Mariah Weeks. His parents Susan Mejia and Raphael Gastelum, Grandparents Noe Mejia, Teresa Romero and Rudy Gastelum. Siblings, Rafael Gastelum, Julia Rodriguez, Julio Rodriguez, Adrianna Mejia, Raymond Hernandez, Anissa Gastelum, Isaac Gastelum and Matthew Gastelum and Matthew Castro. Including Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

The family invites you to a memorial service in his honor on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 207 N. Picacho St, Casa Grande, AZ 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.  A Celebration of life will be held at 204 E. Bisnaga St. Casa Grande, AZ. from 2 PM to 4 PM.
