Ardyth Ann King, 87, of Bethlehem, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025 in her home.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Lynford and Ella (Landis) Eichelberger. Ardyth was a 1956 graduate of Allentown High School. Before raising her family, she worked as a secretary at Western Electric. Later, she worked in the Harry S. Truman Elementary School cafeteria for 15 years and then as a Tax Processor at Berkheimer until retiring in 2018 at the age of 80. Ardyth was a former member of St. Mark’s UCC, where she sang on the choir. She loved to go bowling, roller-skating and ice-skating. Ardyth was also a thrill seeker who was known to ride roller coasters into her 80’s!

Survivors: Children, Karen L. Kucia of Bethlehem, Robin L. Figler and her husband Christopher of Stewartsville, NJ and Gregory S. King of Fountain Hill; brother, Richard Eichelberger of Breinigsville; 4 grandchildren, Nicole Kucia, Alison Wasilkowski (Chad), Samantha Smith (Tyler) and Christopher Figler; 2 great-grandchildren, Raegan and Reid Wasilkowski; many nieces, nephews and their families. Ardyth was also preceded in death by a brother Mearl Eichelberger.

Services: A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 8, 2025 in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, 46 E. Susquehanna Street, Allentown. A viewing for relatives and friends will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at St. Mark’s Cemetery, Allentown.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
