Joan Werkheiser Obituary

Born in Salisbury Township, she was a daughter of the late Horace and Viola (Gable) Fenstermaker. Joan devoted her life to caring for her family and especially loved cooking for them.
Survivors: Son, Thomas E. Werkheiser, Jr. and his wife Ilona of North Whitehall Township; daughter, Suzanne Nyari; granddaughter, Emily Anderson and her husband Gregory; great-granddaughter, Helen Margaret Anderson. Joan was also preceded in death by a brother Donald N. Fenstermaker.
Services: A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Morgenland Eastern Salisbury Cemetery, 1707 Church Road, Allentown. Arrangements are entrusted to the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Allentown.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

Sending prayers to Tommy and Suzanne and families. Your parents were the best in Salisbury. I only have very fond memories of them. They loved and were very kind to everyone and have a special place in Heaven.
