Arlene Marie Minder, 92, of Rochester, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025 at St. John's Hospital.

Arlene was born on July 7, 1932, in Oakford, IL. the daughter of Paul E. and Theresa F. (Duncheon) Vogt. She married Ernest F. "Frank" Minder on April 18, 1953 and he preceded her in death on November 17, 2010. Arlene was a graduate of Porta High School, where she and her sisters were on a Women's Traveling Basketball team, earning them a win at State and place in the Porta High School Sports Hall of Fame. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, watching westerns and spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

Arlene is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Ann and Agnes, and one brother Paul.

She is survived by her four children; Debbie, Terry (Leigh Ann), Mick (Pam) and Gary (Kim) Minder; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 9:00AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at Church of the Little Flower, 800 Stevens Drive, Springfield, IL. 62703. Burial will follow at Joe Brunk Cemetery in Rochester. Friends are invited to join the family back at Little Flower School Gym following the graveside for a time of fellowship to celebrate Arlene's life.

Memorial donations may be made to the Animal Protective League or the Central Illinois Foodbank.
