On June 1, 2025, God called Arlethia Josan Craighead home from labor to reward. San or Sandy, as she was so fondly called, was born on October 26, 1954, to the late James Sr. and Sylvia Young-Stockton, in Welch, West Virginia. She attended McDowell County Public Schools. Upon leaving West Virginia, she relocated to Trenton, New Jersey and Columbus, Ohio.
She became a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Temple. Where she faithfully supported until her death. She enjoyed decorating her home, shopping, watching television, and talking. She always had something amusing to share with you.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Craighead, three sisters, Mary Jones, Constance Christine Johnson, and Yvonne Yvette Stockton, one Brother, Frankie Lee Stockton Sr., and her beloved grandson, De'Aire Craighead.
Those left to share the memories of San are her two sons, Michael (Saundra) Craighead of Columbus, Ohio, and Ronnie Maurice Craighead of Jacksonville, Florida. Her lifelong partner, Kevin L. Baker of Columbus, Ohio. Three brothers, James David Stockton Jr. of Ocala, Florida., William Kermit (Sadie) Stockton of Columbus, Ohio, and Reginald Ricardo Stockton of Columbus, Ohio. Sister-in-laws and Aunts, Karen Stockton and Betty Stockton. Grandchildren, Kaseem, Mikala, Savion, Savon, Sirron, and Damai, and two great-grandchildren Kamari and Maleah and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
