Fort Worth - Arthur (Artie) Martinez, 56, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 7, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Wilmer Hutchins, the son of Jesse and Gloria Martinez.
He attended O.D. Wyatt High School and met the love of his life in Kennedale. They celebrated 33 years of marriage.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Diaz Martinez and Gloria Gonzales Martinez.
Artie is survived by his loving wife, Berthita Martinez; his son, Antonio Martinez; his daughters, Bethany Martinez and Amber Lunsford; and his grandson, Isaiah Lunsford; his brothers, Mark (Mellissa), Ralph (Gloria), Dean, and Tim; and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral service to honor Artie will be held on Saturday, October 12th, at 10:00 a.m., at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford, Texas.
