At an early age he confessed his love for Christ and joined I Hope Baptist Church.
On Thursday evening, May 1, 2025, he slipped away from his loved one at Dawson Rehabilitation Center in Dawson, Georgia.
Brother Arthur Sherman leaves to cherish his memories and morn his passing his aunt reared as a sister Mittie Allen (Charlie) of Dawson, Georgia. Two cousins, reared as sisters, Eloise Sherman and Marilyn Morris both of Trenton, New Jersey; one cousin reared as brother, Melvin Sherman (Barbara) of Dawson, Georgia; a host of cousins and friends; and a devoted friend, Grace Peterson of Dawson, Georgia.
