Ashley Dawn Couchman

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ashley Dawn Couchman, 40, Marion, who passed away at 6:50 am on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Indiana University Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Sunday, August 5, 1984, to Larry and April (Alters) Couchman.

Ashley graduated from Marion High School. She enjoyed crosswords and Sudoku. She also loved watching TV series and always waited for the next episodes to come out.

Ashley was very family-oriented and loved spending time with them. She had taken care of her mother until her passing. Her life was a testament to her unwavering dedication to her family, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is survived by her father, Larry Couchman; fiancé, Josh Knight; daughters, Jadelynn Berry of Marion, Jewelyanna Berry of Marion, Jordyn Berry of Marion, and Jaycee Berry of Marion; son, Jaymeson Knight of Marion; grandsons, Oakley Bodkins and Halo Carmichael; brother, Bradley Couchman of Marion; and several aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by mother, April Couchman, and brother, Brian Alters.

The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Grant Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN.
