Asia Mikell Caldwell was born in Newberry County Memorial Hospital to Mildred Caldwell and Mikell Dean Bowers. She entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
She was a graduate of Newberry High School Class of 2006.She had a loving spirit and to know her was to love her.
She was pre-deceased by her grandparents, Nathaniel and Wilhemenia Caldwell and Leon and Gladys Bertha Bowers, her mother, Mildred Caldwell, aunts, Lisa and Ruby Caldwell and Shirley Tidwell, uncles, Nathaniel Jr. Terry, Jerry, and Harold Caldwell, Leon, Eddie and Oscar Bowers.
Left to Cherish her memories are her beautiful daughter Kailee Capri Caldwell which was her pride and joy whom she loved very much; life long companion, Jeffery Walker and the Walker Family who loved Asia unconditionally; father, Mikell Dean Bowers; brother, Keevis Jermaine Caldwell; sisters, Marlana Moneek Caldwell, Mia Mildre' Caldwell and Michaela Brandi Bowers; nephew, P'dre My Love Cincere Caldwell; aunts, Vickey Caldwell, Ava Taylor and Carolyn Bowers; uncles Benny, Larry, and Bobby (Jackie) Bowers; great aunts, Mildred White, Mary Harris, Ernestine Darion; great-uncle, William Henry Caldwell; God sister Carisha Kinard, God Mother, Greta Renee Young; a host of cousins, friends, and classmates whom loved her dearly.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Newberry, SC. Burial will follow in Werts Cemetery. Public viewing will be on from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
