Asia Nicole Elliston was born June 5, 1981 in Chicago, IL to Anthony Brooks (deceased) and Neal Elliston-Miller. She was raised by her paternal grandmother, Jean D. Robinson in Sacramento, California.
In her younger years, Asia learned to sew and studied ballet. As a teen, she was a competitive figure skater. Asia graduated from Elk Grove High School in Sacramento CA. She attended Sacramento State University before enlisting in the United States Army, where she served diligently. She moved to Killeen, Texas in 2006.
Asia was an entrepreneur, who started many businesses including, Signed & Sealed LLC., notary services, tax consulting and preparation. She worked as a real estate agent. At the time of her death, she was working with a group to establish a real estate/mortgage literacy program to empower prospective homeowners. She enjoyed reading and crafting.
Asia Nicole Elliston departed this earth February 23, 2022. She was well loved and will be immensely missed.
Asia leaves to mourn her husband, Craig Taylor, four children, Iyana Bragdon, Jaylen Bragdon, Noah Moore, Noori Moore, two brothers, Anthony Brooks, Luster Miller, four sisters, Amanda Elliston, Alexis White, Ashell Elliston, Elizabeth Miller-Hudson, her mother, Neal Miller, her grandmother Jean D. Robison and a host of relatives and friends.
And if I go, while you're still here. Know that I live on, vibrating to a different measure behind a thin veil you cannot see through. You will not see me, so you must have faith. I wait for the time when we can soar together again, both aware of each other. Until then, live your life to the fullest and when you need me, just whisper my name, Asia in your heart, I will be there.
