Audrey Louise Becker, 85, of Marietta, passed away surrounded by her family Thursday, October 9, 2025 at her home.
Audrey was born October 1, 1940 in Marietta to John and Dorothy Allen.
She graduated from Bloomfield High School.
She married Allie Gale Becker on June 20, 1959.
Audrey was a member of Valley View Baptist and was active with their adult ministry group “Keenagers.” She lived for her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Audrey enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, quilting and doing crossword puzzles. She was loved deeply by several lifelong friends.
Audrey will be deeply missed by her husband Allie “Gabby” Gale Becker; children Kathy (Chet) Hockenberry, Michael (Nancy) Becker, Stacy (Donnie) Washburn; grandchildren Chad Hockenberry, Kyle (Taylor) Hockenberry, Shandele (Josh) Stemple, Danton Miller, Tanden (Joseph) Warren, Zachary Washburn, Gabrielle (Ron) Welch, Garrett Becker (Elizabeth Rioch); great-grandchildren Kylee Hockenberry, Blake Stemple, Reagan Hockenberry, Colton Miller, Rhett Warren, Jackson Hockenberry and Tate Warren as well as several brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her sister Lila Jean Heddleston as well as several brothers and sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Freed and the staff of Amedisys Hospice for all their care and support throughout this difficult time.
Friends may call Monday October 13th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Miller officiating. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.
