Audrey B. Kauffman 93, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023, at her home near Thompsontown.
She was born May 1, 1930 in Walnut.
She is survived by four children, Scott Kauffman and wife, Tracey, Mindy Rishel and husband, Charles, Clyde C. "Chuck" Kauffman, Jr., and Judy K. Leitzel, and two grandsons, Kyle Kauffman and Joe Slautterback.
She was preceded in death by her father, Archie W. Bryner, her mother, Anna (Warner) Bryner Turbett, her step-father, John Turbett, one granddaughter, Angela Stayer, two brothers, William "Penn" Bryner and Homer Bryner, one sister, Margaret Bryner, and her son-in-law, Gregory Leitzel.
She graduated from Juniata Joint High School in 1948 and retired from Pa. Department of Community Affairs after many years as a secretary.
She attended Thompsontown Methodist Church.
Audrey enjoyed life to the fullest and enjoyed playing the piano, painting pictures and she loved going on bus trips.
Her service will be held at the convenience of the family in Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown, with Pastor Karen Ward officiating.
The family would like to especially thank her neighbors, Patti and Rick Becker for their friendship and support over the years and care-giver Molly McMullen for providing wonderful care that allowed Audrey to be at home.
Because of Audrey's love of animals, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are respectfully requested to Pets Come First, 2451 General Potter Hwy, Centre Hall, PA 16828.
