Audrey Mae Preast

Audrey Mae Preast, 88, of Victor, West Virginia passed away, Monday, October 14, 2024, at home. Audrey was born on January 17, 1936, in Gamoca, West Virginia to the late Woodrow and Irlena Pullen.
Audrey was a front desk supervisor at Hawks Nest State Park in Ansted, West Virginia.
Audrey enjoyed attending church when her health permitted. She loved going bargain hunting for her precious grandchildren. Audrey found great pleasure in loving God and helping her loving family. She said, "I can't enjoy what I have if I know my family needs something I can help with."
In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by a son, Dale Preast; 2 brothers, Jean and Jr. Pullen; and 2 sisters, Opal Taylor and Drema Foster.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 71 years, Dencil Preast; her daughter, Debbie McVey (Richard); her sister, Nancy Huddleston (John); a daughter-in-law, Peggy Preast; grandchildren, Dale Preast Jr. (Gloria), Heather Hundley, and Valerie Endicott (Jeff); and great-grandchildren, Cameron and Kenna Preast, Silas, Hannah, and Paul Hundley, and Luke, Levi, Lilly, and Logan Endicott.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Victory Independent Baptist Church in Victor, West Virginia with Pastor Timothy Young of Swiss, West Virginia officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Lawn Memory Gardens in Victor.
There will be no visitation.
Pallbearers will be her grandson, Dale Preast Jr.; and great-grandsons, Cameron Preast, Silas and Paul Hundley, and Luke and Levi Endicott.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Hospice of Southern West Virginia.
