Austin Jay Powers, of Republic, MO passed away on February 11, 2023 at the age of 29. He was born in Springfield, MO on January 13,1994, to Jay Powers and Ginger Woolf.
Austin worked as a long-haul truck driver. He was baptized on March 30,2021,and knew the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. He was blessed with one son, Aundre Powers. Aundre would like everyone to know that his dads favorite color was orange and that they liked to go bowling, swimming & that they loved to fish together, even winning a tournament. Austin's brothers would like everyone to know what a great big brother he was and what an extremely selfless person who always put everyone before himself, as he truly had a heart of gold.
Austin was a funny, handsome, charming, ambitious, and intelligent individual who was extremely forgiving, understanding & full of grace. He loved music, football, fishing, traveling, and phone conversations with this son, grandfather, brothers & parents. Austin was a leader who always had encouraging words and advice for those around him and was a individual who protected the ones he loved.
He is survived by his mother, Ginger Bell and her fiancée Bryan Baker of Arkansas, his father Jay Powers of Springfield, MO, his son Aundre Powers, brothers Garrett and Jacob Shadwick, sister Jaylee Powers, maternal grandparents Terry and Vanessa Woolf and Patricia Campos, paternal grandmother Connie Powers as well as other extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10am on Saturday February 25, 2023, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic, MO.
