In Loving Memory of Barbara A. Barr Fesler

July 15, 1938 – November 1, 2025

Barbara A. Barr Fesler, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on July 15, 1938, in New Matamoras, Ohio, Barbara grew up in Wellsburg, West Virginia, where she developed a deep appreciation for family, faith, and community. She later raised her family in Griffith, Indiana, alongside her first husband, the late Peter Klovanish Jr. In 1984, Barbara moved to California to be closer to her growing family, and in 2022 she relocated to Woodstock, Georgia, where she enjoyed her later years surrounded by loved ones.

Barbara is survived by her devoted husband, Charles "Chuck" Fesler, and her children: Peter (Joe) Klovanish and his wife Shelly, Steven Klovanish and his wife Crystal Hollands, Tamara Klovanish, and Karen Powers and her husband Allen. She was the proud grandmother of Joelle, Kyle, Cassidy, Noah, Seth (and wife Samantha), and Sarah (and husband Spencer), and the cherished great-grandmother of Kylee Kline, Jayden Kline, Carolina Jump, Jeremiah Jump, Eleanor Klovanish, Salem Mason, and Madox Fisher. Barbara also leaves behind one great-great-grandchild, Lyla McCleskey, and her beloved brother Jan Barr and his wife Doris, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara's life was defined by her unwavering faith in Jesus, her generosity, and her deep love for her family and friends. She delighted in painting, crafting, baking, gardening, and hosting gatherings-especially her legendary Valentine's Day parties, which brought joy to everyone around her. Her creativity, warmth, and kindness touched countless lives and created memories that will endure forever.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., honoring Barbara's beautiful life and faith-filled journey.

Barbara's legacy of love, joy, and faith will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.

"Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord." – Matthew 25:23
