Barbara Capone Obituary

The eldest daughter of the late Raymond and Vivian (Jackie) Capone, she is survived by her brothers Raymond A Capone Jr and wife Martha, from Pittsburgh PA and Venice FL, Stephen F Capone and wife Sharon from Pittsburgh, PA, and by her sister Lori Annette Capone from Sarasota, FL. She cherished her nephews and nieces, more than words can express, with nephews Raymond Capone Ill, Avery' Capone, Stephen Capone Jr, Andrew Capone, and Daniel Capone and with nieces Vivian Cirilano and Clotilde Cirilano. Apart from the joy of her nieces and nephews she also cherished in her later years the company of her 9 great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was a realtor and president of Capone Realty before her retirement to Florida where she worked for Nielsen Corp. She enjoyed many friends, especially those in the southwest Florida poker league which she frequented until her passing.
A funeral mass will be held on February 8, 2025, at 10 AM, at the Epiphany Cathedral Catholic Church, 310 Sarasota St., Venice FL 34285.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be directed to the Lupus Foundation of America at www.lupus.org.

I met Bonnie playing league poker a couple of years ago, and we played trivia on the same teams as well. She used to say "I don´t know any of the answers, I just came to eat!

My deepest condolences to the Capone family. Bonnie was a beautiful person with a smile that lit up whatever room she was in. She was my best friend. I'll miss her always.
